Saeid Marouf is an Iranian professional volleyball player and captain of the Iran men's national volleyball team. He was born on September 25, 1985 and started playing volleyball at a local club in Tehran, Iran. Marouf is regarded as one of the best setters in the world and has won numerous awards such as the Best Setter at the 2014 World Championship and the Most Valuable Player at the 2016 Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament. He has also led Iran to multiple victories at the Asian Games and the Asian Volleyball Championship. Aside from his volleyball career, Marouf is known for his philanthropy and charity work in Iran. He has worked with various organizations to help underprivileged children and families in need.
